Meet Alanna, an international educator with a passion for teaching, cultural exchange, and connecting with people from around the world! With a Master’s in International Education and over 12 years of experience in education, Alanna’s journey began as a Peace Corps Volunteer teaching English in Burkina Faso. It was there that she fell in love with West Africa and discovered her passion for teaching.

Since then, Alanna has called Senegal home for the past nine years, where she has worked as both a teacher and school leader at two international schools. With her diverse international experience, Alanna brings a warm, engaging, and culturally rich approach to language learning.

Alanna is passionate about creating a supportive learning environment where learners feel encouraged to grow, communicate, and enjoy the journey to English fluency. She believes that teaching English is about building confidence, making meaningful connections, and discovering new perspectives through cultural exchange.

Meet Ramata, a passionate educator with a love for language, learning, and creating inclusive spaces where everyone feels welcome! With a B.S. in Psychology and a B.A. in French Language from Howard University, Ramata has built a diverse background in education, mentoring, and program development.

Her international education journey began with two Fulbright grants to Senegal, where she worked as an English Teaching Assistant and mentor. Along the way, her experience as an events coordinator, tutor, and student council director helped her develop strong organizational skills and a natural ability to connect with and support others.

Today, Ramata is an English Language Instructor and Program Developer for the New Heights Tutoring Program at ESL Bridge 360. She creates a welcoming classroom where students feel comfortable asking questions, expressing themselves, and building confidence in English.

For Ramata, teaching is about more than learning a language—it’s about encouraging curiosity and helping learners feel empowered along their path to proficiency.

Tamrah, the driving force behind the scenes, Program Director and instructor of ESL Bridge 360. With over two decades of corporate experience in her arsenal, Tamrah’s journey took a delightful turn about 13 years ago when she discovered her passion for teaching English. With a Master’s in Business Administration and a TESOL certification, Tamrah is not just about teaching language; she's about empowering minds.

 

Tamrah's teaching adventures have brought her to Senegal, where she has served as a high school English and IB Business Management teacher. When she's not busy igniting minds with knowledge, you'll find Tamrah exploring the dynamic landscapes of Senegal or taking a leisurely stroll along the beach.

 

With her blend of professionalism, Tamrah brings a unique flair to education, making every learning experience not just enriching but also incredibly fun.

Aly is a visionary entrepreneur who has carved a remarkable path in the business world, leaving an indelible mark on both sides of the Atlantic Ocean. Born with a passion for innovation and a relentless drive for success, Aly embarked on a journey that took him from Senegal to the United States, where he played a pivotal role in major residential and commercial projects.

Inspired by a desire to make a meaningful impact, he then embarked on a unique journey that he fondly refers to as "reverse immigration." This transformative decision led him back to his roots in Senegal, where he envisioned a project that would not only foster economic growth but also bridge cultural and linguistic gaps.  And from that vision, ESL Bridge 360 came to life!
